The unit is designed for testing fresh catalysts deactivated in laboratory environment and balanced (used in industry).
The volume of the catalyst being loaded is from 5 to 12 grams (from 0,18 to 0,42 oz), the loading of raw materials (vacuum gas oil) is from 1 to 3 grams (from 0,035 to 0,106 oz). The Conradson carbon residueshould not exceed 10%.
The catalyst coking rate is determined directly in the unit after cracking. Liquid and gaseous cracking products are analyzed by three gas chromatographs with automatic samplers, that allows you determining the conversion rate and the catalyst selectivity.

The system analyzes catalytic cracking gaseous products by determining the amount of hydrogen and hydrocarbons from C1to C6+.
The analysis is carried out directly at the end of the testing of each catalyst portion. The gas factor of the catalyst is determined based on the results of the analysis.
– System for determining the fractional composition of liquid petroleum products on the bases of Crystallux-4000M Gas Chromatograph
The system allows to simulate a determination of fractional composition of middle fractions for oil and petroleum products according to ASTM D7213. The analysis results obtained are comparable to the fractional composition measured according to ASTM D86 and ASTM D1160. The analyzed objectsare petroleum products boiling up to 615oC (1139oF) under normal conditions (gasoline, kerosene, diesel fractions, atmospheric gas oils, products of secondary oil refining, etc.).
– A system for in-depth analysis of hydrocarbon composition of gasoline and gasoline fractions on the bases of Crystallux-4000M Gas Chromatograph
The system is designed for the quantitative analysis of individual hydrocarbons up to C9, specifying their physical properties and boiling points. Besides hydrocarbons, it is possible to determine oxygen-containing compounds. Based on the analysis results, specializedsoftware calculates the octane number of the fraction explored.
Due to comprising of a built-in compressor with an air purification system, inclusive a catalytic reactor against organic matters, a generator of highly pure hydrogen, a vacuum pump and a catalytic purification filter for nitrogen up to 99,999, the unit is autonomous in terms of gas supply to itself and to the chromatographs. A high-purity nitrogen generator can be supplied.
Nine thermal depending channels of gas flows formation allow keeping constant either a gas flow rate or a pressure in the gas line. When maintaining constant a gas flow rate, the system automatically determines leaking or blocking in the gas line by the pressure deviation, and vice versa, when maintaining constant a pressure, the gas flow is controlled allowing to monitor leaking or blocking in the gas line automatically. Automatically regenerated on-the-fly by reverse blowing mechanical cleaningfilters are installed in the required locations.
